0:01You can raise your hand if you have a question. Sorry? Can you summarize those three desires of God? Yes, yes. First, they see that Krishna's prema is somewhat kacha, it's not fully ripe. He has up to Adiruddha, but not Modan and Mohan. So they want his love to become ripened, because the greatest happiness is in love.

0:44The second one is that Krishna has a little bit of Atmaramata, and that should go away. And because there is a, when there's some atmaramata, there is the sense of tripti. Krishna can meet and feel some satisfaction. But when there's no, not even the slightest spot of atmaramata, then there is what is called tripti abhav, the absence of satisfaction. In other words, this love is insatiable. It's never satisfied. Krishna can enjoy pastimes with Radhika and feel so satisfied. Radhika is never satisfied.

1:28That means that in herself, she never considers herself, but she only feels that I have not pleased Krishna enough. So there is a triptya bhava in Radhika, but that triptya bhava is not fully there in Krishna, so that Krishna will attain that type of love. That was the second design. And the last one is that they could not tolerate the cruel things that Krishna does.

1:52not only did he disappear in Rasa-lila, but he agreed to go to Mathura with Akrura. What on earth is that?

2:02Do you think that Radhika will one day say, oh Krishna just wait here in Vrindavan, I'm going to Mathura? That's impossible. It's completely impossible. So how can Krishna do it? Very bad. Very bad. The pain he gave to Radhika in that moment, no one can describe that. So when Krishna experienced that pain in the form of Gauranga Mahaprabhu, than the sakis. So, you see, and then he experienced the tripta, bhava, the complete absence of any possibility of satisfaction, that prem is, the pure prem of Radhika is insatiable. And so, and the third desire was this, that Krishna had this guru drohi, that he sometimes does something that gives pain. And then when he uttered the verse,

2:48
aslishava, padaratam, pinashtuman, ingore, lila, that means he was now experiencing the absolute absence, no possibility of the quality of Gurudrohi. Now, you should know that Krishna, he's not at fault, and he's not Gurudrohi. Really, yes, he gives some pain to get for higher satisfaction, and Radharani accepts this, because that's her nature.

3:14But because the Sakis are so partial to Shimati Radhika, in their bhav, they see it as some fault in Krishna, and he should take responsibility for that. Is it clear? Yes? Any other question?

3:31At the beginning when you were telling the story... It's okay, she's going to Alachua and all the other festivals, so I'm just giving the progs to you right now. At the beginning when you were telling the story, it was mercy, and also yesterday when you were referring about the Jaya Maylad verse, I'm thinking, are those souls who receive Mahaprabhu's mercy in that lila without having to perform any type of sadhan?

3:55Are those souls because they performed sadhan in previous lifetimes or that was just pure, causeless mercy? Like, my question is, like, because it says that in scripture, sometimes in Chaitanya Charitamrita, that Mahaprabhu just saw somebody and they all of a sudden had prem. Or also in Javadharma, we'll hear how it kind of seems a little easy when Bijan and Brejana, they're, like, chanting and then after a while they have the action of Pancha Tattu.

4:17Yes, well, let's say, if you take the example of Vijayakumar and Vrajanath in Jaiva Dharma, obviously they have very high-level samskars, and so they progress very quickly, and so they have some practice from a previous life. In Goralila, there's a mixture of great persons who have taken birth there, and those who are at some more distance, they may be not so qualified, and they become qualified by mercy.

4:46But you should know that actually within the lila, during the actual prakat lila, there's a great increase in mercy, which is not available. Mercy is also available, but not that type of mercy outside of the prakat lila.

5:03
For example, Lord Brahma said, sadhweisham, ivaputana, apisat, kulatvam, that, oh just see, putana, sadhweisham, she just dressed up like a bridge bassi, and by this, Krishna gave her position in Golok, so someone can say, well, look at that, if you just dress up like a bridge bassi, you can get, you can get, go to Golok, but no, then you become a Sakibeki, or a Sahaji, or something,

5:34That kind of mercy is only available during the lila. There's a special mercy that's available during the lila, and it's not available outside of that time. So outside of that time, everyone has to do sadhana. Another thing is that what you should consider is even a person who is very qualified, well, hey, there is no qualification. The type of love that Mahapu is giving, there's nothing that anyone can do, even if millions of lifetimes of sadhana to deserve that, you understand? So even if someone is very, very, very qualified and they take birth in the lila, it's still causeless mercy because there's absolutely nothing you can do.

6:13I mean, what can we do in this world? The greatest thing that we can do is a kind of self-sacrifice, like Jesus Christ, you know, you can be crucified, tortured and murdered for the benefit of someone else. But that's not, that's like a negative thing, right? You've given up something of this world, surrendered something of this world, your own bodily happiness, your own bodily comfort or something.

6:40It's kind of like a negative thing. But this love, prem, sneya, maan, parnaya, this is nityasiddha bhav. These are the ecstatic emotions which are the play of the ladini shakti. So there's no one in this world who can have the feelings and the anubhavs and the activities which are the play of the internal potency because we're just tatasta shakti and we're here in the three gunas.

7:08So we can do the negative thing, we can surrender, but we can't love Krishna as they love, because to do that, you need that swarup shakti and that intensity in your heart in order to love him in this way. So whenever Chaitanya Mahaprabhu gives love, it's really a cause of mercy, in the sense that whatever you did was negative, and it could never really warrant that.

7:33You know, let's take, for example, in previous ages, there are so many sages, like Vashishta Rishi and Vishwamitra Muni, and so many sages, they're much more qualified than us, right? Dhruva Maharaj, Dhruva Maharaj gave up eating, sleeping, drinking, gave up breathing. We can't do that. But what did he get? He went to the Ramapriya Vaikuntha, which is within the covering of the universe.

7:58So there's no way that we would be able to do such a self-abnegation that Dhruvamaraj did. And Dhruvamaraj actually stayed within the, it's a spiritual planet of course, but it's within the coverings of the universe. So then how can, even if we do very, very hard austerities, it's still a causeless mercy to receive something which is totally of another dimension, totally beyond anything that we are capable of doing or even thinking of.

8:29So this should be considered So we'll sing a few maha mantras And then we invite everyone Please come at 5 o'clock for bhajans And at 6 o'clock. It will not be Gaura-līlā. This evening will be purely. Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa līlā. By the mercy of Gaura. So two days we heard about. The glories of Gaura-Nitāi.
